General Collection
This collection covers subjects in all disciplines, without reference to a specific geographic area.
The West Indian Collection
This collection covers subjects in all disciplines and is limited to works on or about the West Indies. (Caribbean)
The Belize Collection
This collection covers subjects in all disciplines but is limited to works done on Belize or by and about Belizeans. (Books, researches, thesis, etc.)
Periodicals
The latest issues are on the display rack which includes the newspapers (local and regional). The current three-month issues are kept in the reading room.
Course Modules
Modules from courses offered at the Global Campus can also be found in the library.
The Vertical File
This is housed in the filing system kept in the library with other materials from all the different collections that need special handling. Past Examination papers are also available for reference or copied. (May also be able in the GCLIS Past Examination Paper Database)
Eresources
Eresources can be found using UWIlinC. Search and discovery subscribed and free ebooks, ejournals, databases and more.

The library can accommodate up to 25 patrons.
In Library Services
There is a loan form for students, which they have to sign when checking out books. In addition, students have Wi-Fi access, and two library computers. In addition, patrons can consult with the library personnel via email or telephone. Photocopying as well as printing can be done from the library.

Outreach
Book Club
The UWI, Open Campus, Belize in collaboration with Krem TV has embarked on a project to bring together camaraderie with currently enrolled students of the UWI Belize Centre, UWI alumni and other interested members of the Belizean community at large to become members of the newly established UWI, Open Campus, Belize, Book Club which was inaugurated Dec. 10th, 2010.
This Club aims at encouraging its members to maintain and commence the good habit of reading books that are "outside of the box "and to expose readers to varying thoughts from national and international authors. Opportunities will also be available for promoting good reading habits, as well as socialization, holding discussions and debates, and cohesiveness between and among its members.
