Certificate in Human Resource Management (Full Time)

Introduction

This programme allows participants to study the human resource factors that impact organizational effectiveness. Issues such as planning, staffing, training and development are examined for their effect on employee performance.

This Programme carries normal matriculation status to UWI Degree programmes.

 

Who is this programme for?

The Full Time programme is mounted for persons coming directly from CSEC and looking to do a one year certificate programme that gives matriculation into full bachelor degree programmes, and who seek knowledge and skills in the management of Human Resource.

 

Programme Structure

Each subject demands seventy-five (75) contact hours, or 225 hours per semester i.e. 450 contact hours for the one (1) year duration.

Classes are held daily, Monday-Friday between the hours 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

When will the programme start?

This programme starts in August and normally runs for One (1) year.

 

Entry Requirements

Applicants should normally have five (5) '0' Levels (or equivalent), including English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects, or mature students who do not strictly meet the academic requirements but have five (5)' years or more experience in the field.
