Introduction
The philosophical context of the Early Childhood Teacher Training Curriculum falls within the Ministry of Education philosophical framework for the establishment of a quality education system by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.
Who is this programme for?
This programme is mounted for persons involved in teaching pre-schoolers with little or no formal training or young persons wanting to become pre-school teachers.
Programme Structure
Classes are Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
When will the programme start?
This programme starts in August and normally runs for Two (2) years.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should normally have five (5) '0' Levels (or equivalent), including English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects, or mature students who do not strictly meet the academic requirements but have five (5)' years or more experience in the field.
