The Sir Luther Wynter Pre-school is an affiliated child development center which offers excellent nurturing/tutelage to pre-schoolers aged 2.5 to 5 years. The school employs seven (7) teachers who supervise ninety (90) students at a ratio of one teacher to 12 students which is in keeping with acceptable standards. The school utilizes the High/Scope curriculum where children are encouraged to choose their preferred activities under the guidance/supervision of teachers. The Sir Luther Wynter Pre-school has been designated as a model school by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). It has also been designated as a venue for teaching practice for students pursuing the Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development and Family Studies offered by the UWI Global Campus.
