Course Description
The Certificate Program: An Introduction to Family Law provides participants with an introductory overview of Family law.
The course will commence with an overview of Family law, its history, and the law taken from common law, equity, and legislative perspectives, and an examination of the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

Course Objectives

the Domestic Violence Act (DVA) and the UNCRC and;
3. Recognize concepts and theories in this area of law
