Outreach event hosted by GCAS and CWI in Antigua in 2019
Sixteen young female cricketers from primary and secondary schools in Antigua and Barbuda now have a better appreciation for the game of cricket and professional sport in general. This, after, The UWI Global Campus Academy of Sport (GCAS) and Cricket West Indies (CWI) hosted a one-day outreach activity for young female cricketers at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua and Barbuda during the CWI’s women’s training camp.

2019 Student Games
The Inter-Campus Games is a biennial competition held within a seven (7) day period. The Inter-campus Games otherwise known as UWI Games is a multi-discipline event which includes cricket, football, basketball, lawn tennis, swimming, table tennis, hockey, volleyball and track & field.
This competition helps our student athletes to interact with students from the other UWI Campuses. It fosters a healthy competition amongst our Caribbean neighbours as well as fosters a certain level of integration.

The UWI Global Campus Trinidad & Tobago's win of the UWI St. Augustine 2018 Inter-Departmental Cup
The UWI Global Campus, Academy of Sport, Trinidad & Tobago. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 — It was a proud moment for The UWI Global Campus on Friday, December 7, 2018, when The UWI Global Campus Trinidad & Tobago Staff Football Team celebrated its win of The UWI St. Augustine Campus’ 2018 Inter-Departmental Cup (IDC). The UWI Global Campus defeated the Department of Facilities Management (DFM) from The UWI St. Augustine Campus 3-1 in the 2018 finals held at the Administration West Field, St Augustine Campus. This is the second win for the Global Campus (GC) team, who first claimed the title in 2014.

2018 Outreach event with UWI GCAS and CWI for the SOS Children's Home
The University of the West Indies (UWI) Global Campus Academy of Sport (GCAS) and Cricket West Indies (CWI) hosted a group of teenage girls from the SOS Children's Village in Stony Hill, Jamaica, on Sunday June 17, 2018.
The event was held during the West Indies Women's Cricket Tournament being held in Jamaica. Cricketers from the participating teams, namely Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Barbados and the Windward and Leeward Islands interacted with the girls, shared their backgrounds and experiences in sport and discussed the skills needed to make it at the professional level.

2018 UWI Staff Games
On Wednesday, June, 2018, The University of the West Indies (The UWI) launched its 16th Biennial Inter-Campus Staff Games, to be held in the Spice Isle of Grenada. The Games ran from July 6- 15, 2018 and was hosted by the Global Campus. Approximately over 300 members of UWI faculty and staff along with their families.

UWI Staff Games 2018 Outreach Event
On Wednesday, July 11th 2018, UWI Global Campus (UWIGC) held an outreach event for the Belair Children's Home in Grenada, for the first of its kind for the UWI Games. We hosted twenty (20) children for the say of fun and games at the Tanteen Sports Facilities. The Children were coached in four (4) sporting disciplines by a representative from each campus as follows:
Football- UWI St Augustine
Athletics- UWI Mona
Netball- UWI Global Campus and Cave Hill
Cricket- UWI Global Campus
