The UWI Open Campus, Anguilla. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 - The University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus Anguilla recorded another milestone with the conferring of degrees on some fifty-three (53) Graduates during the 2022 Virtual Graduation Ceremony on October 15, 2022.
Forty-seven (47) Graduands received Undergraduate degrees:

Twenty-one (21) of the Undergraduates received First Class Honours and twenty-three (23) were awarded Second Class Honours. Three (3) of the Postgraduates received Distinctions.
Chair of The UWI Open Campus Council, Ambassador Dr. June Soomer presided over the ceremony, which also saw the conferring of Honorary Doctor of Law degrees on Cleopatra Doumbia-Henry, PhD, LLM of Dominica and Sir Hugh Anthony Rawlins of St. Kitts and Nevis.
The UWI Open Campus Anguilla Graduates marked the ceremony with a special Graduation Watch Party with family and friends at Roy’s Bayside Grill. During the evening, the Graduates were toasted by Manager for the Open Campus British Overseas Territories, Dr. Phyllis Fleming-Banks, Chair of The UWI Open Campus Anguilla Guild of Students, Ms. Jahnesha Jones and President of The UWI Alumni Association – Anguilla Chapter, Ms. Kemoloy Murphy. Tribute was also paid to fellow Graduate Ms. Lenisha Richardson who transitioned two weeks before graduation. The UWI Open Campus Anguilla Class of 2022 will also recognise Lenisha during the local Recognition of Graduates Ceremony slated for November 22, 2022.
