On January 28, 2020, Ms. Heron, Head of WAND gave a public lecture in collaboration with the Women & Gender Studies Institute/Caribbean Studies Programme of the University of Toronto, the Caribbean Solidarity Network, and A Different Booklist in Toronto, Canada. The lecture was entitled, "Not a Bloodklaat: Exploring Performance, Testimony, Ritual and Disruption in Jamaica's Social Justice Movement. With reference to earlier movements in the Black Radical Tradition, the lecture focused on the work of the Tambourine Army and its Survivor Empowerment March, held in Jamaica on March 11, 2017. Photos
