The YLAF Programme

The Youth Leaders Alliance Forum enhanced the competencies of political aspirants and community stakeholders in policy development, citizen engagement, and transformative leadership. The programme equipped participants to craft inclusive policies, promote participatory governance, and drive meaningful change within their communities. Designed for a targeted cohort of 50 young leaders aged 21–40, the three-month program featured two key components: training and mentorship.

Objectives

  1. Develop citizen-centered policies that reflect the needs and aspirations of the community.
  2. Advocate for new legislation and policy reforms that are responsive to the evolving needs of citizens.
  3. Strengthen the capacity of emerging leaders to effectively and responsively lead transformative initiatives in their communities.
