This first table presents selected indicators taken from the CDB Annual Report for 1997. In one case information is not available for that year - the figure with an asterisk * is from the 1995 report and refers to two years earlier than the rest of the data. The final column shows each population (using the 1995 mid-year estimate) as a percentage of the population of the NCCs and campus countries combined (omitting Guyana). Note that abnormal circumstances in Montserrat would distort average population increases, so it has been omitted from such calculations. The CDB remarks that the per capita GDP for Montserrat should be "read with caution".
