Towards a Strategic Plan for Outreach to the Non-Campus Countries, 1998-2002

The Board of Non-Campus Countries and Distance Education received a printed version of this document (NCC/DE P.16, 1997/98) at its meeting on May 23^rd in the Bahamas. It endorsed its main thrusts and asked that it be sent on to the University's Strategy Committee, while at the same time being filled out in consultation with the faculties and other relevant University agencies.

We are now putting up the text as sent to the Board. Significant modifications or additions will be indicated as they are made. We welcome your thoughts on the proposals, and of course any corrections of the errors we have made.
