The Academic Vehicle for Success
Another aspect that is much appreciated is the readily available learning resources. There is no need to
worry about purchasing books or spending
time browsing many search engines.
All the courses have a course guide that is used to help the learner work at his or her pace with instruction and what is expected to be covered on a weekly basis.
The different styles of
learning provided ensure
that the needs of all students
are met whether it is through
video, synchronous sessions via
Blackboard Collaborate, reading from
the provided links or online activities with fellow
peers. Feedback is done promptly so I can gauge my strengths and weaknesses. I can follow my progress and make the necessary adjustment to meet the expected goals. Starting this academic journey with one CXC subject to this present time where I have grade point average (GPA) at the level of rst class honours could have only been made possible through a well-structured programme such as the one offered at The UWI Open Campus.
From the comfort of my home, this academic vehicle will make my dream a reality.
