Who can apply?
Anyone who satisfies the university’s matriculation requirements can apply to study at the Global Campus. You must also satisfy the entry requirements of the programme of your choice. See programmes (Insert Link to International Programme Information) for the admission requirements of specific programmes.
Age Entry Requirement
There is no minimum age requirement for entry to undergraduate programmes at The UWI, except in the Faculty of Medical Sciences which requires a minimum age of 18 years for entry.
Admission Requirements
International applicants are required to satisfy the relevant University minimum entry requirements for matriculation. The requirements for programmes offered are available at international programme offers.
Other entry qualifications include:
- Holders of the Ontario Secondary School Honours Graduation Diploma (OSSHGD) awarded after Grade 13; OR
- The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) awarded since June 1986, with an overall grade of at least 60;
- Holders of the French or the International Baccalaureate;
- Holders of the German Abitur;
- An acceptable high school transcript (Grade 12) with a minimum GPA of 3.0, plus an acceptable SAT I score (minimum of 1700) plus a minimum of two 2 SAT II subjects at a score of 500 or above; OR
- Successful completion of Advanced Placement Courses; OR
To qualify as a lower level matriculant one needs to submit an acceptable high school transcript (Grade 12) with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and an acceptable SAT I score (minimum of 1500).
