On Wednesday, 18 October 2023, UWI Global Campus Dominica hosted an Induction Ceremony for the Executive Members of the Dominica Chapter of the Guild of Students and the UWI Alumni Association for 2023-2024 under the 75th Anniversary theme: Rooted, Ready, Rising.
Among the highlights of the event was the featured address from Mrs. Natasha Jervier-Carbon, Director of Dominica Planned Parenthood Association. Mrs. Jervier-Carbon, who served as Chair of the local Guild Chapter and UWI Games Chair on the regional Guild during her time as a BSc Youth Development Work student, encouraged the Inductees to dedicate themselves to service to their community and to the UWI. The event also displayed various UWI alumni performances in poetry and music.
