When I first saw the scholarship and I went through the list of programmes being offered I was so excited. I was already doing my research on a project management course and the timing couldn’t be better. When I learned that there was a life skills course attached that would run concurrently, I got excited at the opportunity to earn two certificates but also felt intimidated. I must applaud the team from the OECS and UWI for running the life skills course first which got me interested and really hooked before my program started. I am of the belief that if it was the other way around, I wouldn’t have put in as much time and effort into it and reap so many benefits.
