The application deadline is September 20, 2026 - 11:59pm (Eastern Caribbean Time). Late submissions will not be accepted.
What documents do I need to submit?

How are scholarship recipients selected?
Selection is based on:
- The application and eligibility criteria
- A quality video interview
- Any required pre-requisite experience/qualifications
- Priority will be given to applications that show potential for long-term impact on digital transformation initiatives in the applicant’s home country
- Women upskilling in the Digital Skills Sector
Can I apply if I am already receiving another scholarship?
Some scholarships allow recipients to receive multiple awards, while others do not.
Are there pre-requisites for some of the Digital Skill courses?
Yes, certain advanced or expert-level courses necessitate the applicat possess introductory or intermediate certifications in the relevant field. For further details, kindly refer to the course catalog.
Can I apply if I received a previous OECS Scholarship?
Preference will be given to new applicants however, previous beneficiaries who are seeking to upskill are welcomed to apply.
If I lack digital skills, am I still eligible to apply?
We invite individuals who are eager to transition into new sectors or wish to acquire foundational digital skills to apply for these courses.
Will there be an examination or assignments?
Yes. These may include online assignments and quizzes. If you are persuing an Industry Certification, you may be required to sit an online examination (where applicable).
How much funding does the scholarship provide?
The scholarship covers full tuition and certification examination costs (where applicable).
When will I be notified if I am selected?
Applicants will be notified via email.
How is the Scholarship structured?
The scholarship has two major components: the “Empowering for Success” Support programme and the chosen Digital Skill course. Recipients are to complete the Empowering for Success component before progressing to the digital skills component. To successfully complete the scholarship agreement, recipients must complete both components.
How are the courses structured? Do I have to sit at the computer all day?
Both components are self-paced courses, allowing you to study at your own convenience. However, there will be scheduled times when you will need to access a Zoom call or a live training session. Schedules will be posted on the Learning Management System.
Will I receive the EXACT Digital Skill course I applied for?
Applicants are encouraged to select four Digital Skill courses that align with their interests and aspirations. The selection committee will prioritize addressing regional and country skill gaps while considering the applicants’ preferences. While we strive to provide the selected digital skills courses of choice, we cannot guarantee the fulfillment of your preferred priority.
