Partial Closure of The UWI Open Campus, Port Antonio Site

Office of the Campus Registrar. Thursday, March 30, 2023 — The University of the West Indies (The UWI) Open Campus, in an effort to streamline its operations, will gradually move to close its Port Antonio Site located at 34 Folly Road, Port Antonio, Portland, Jamaica. This will be a gradual process and so, beginning Monday, April 3, 2023, there will be a scaling down of the operations at the Site.

Please note that students will still be able to access our services in Portland by calling the following numbers: 876-213-0916 or 876-326-2972 or by email to: jamaica.eastern@open.uwi.edu. Persons may also visit the Site on Mondays and Fridays between the hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The Site will close permanently on June 30, 2023. Students pursuing studies at the Port Antonio Site will be guided to another Open Campus location. We do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The UWI Open Campus remains the Campus for ALL providing tertiary education “Online, On Siteand On Demand."
