Payment Plan and Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance

Students who require financial support to fund their programme of study are encouraged to discuss their circumstances with their Site Administrator at the earliest opportunity. Site Administrators can provide guidance on available funding options and support services.

Need Help Financing Your Studies?

You may have questions such as:
• What financial assistance is available?
• Are scholarships or awards offered?
• Can I pay my tuition fees in instalments?
• What happens if I am unable to make a payment?
• Who can I speak with confidentially about my financial situation?

We are Here to Support You
We understand that many students face financial challenges in today's economic climate. To help make higher and continuing education more accessible, the University has maintained the base cost of many courses and programmes for several years.

At The UWI Global Campus, we are committed to supporting your academic journey and helping you achieve your personal and professional goals. Our Payment Plan option is one of the ways we assist students who need short-term financial flexibility.

Payment Plan Agreement
The Payment Plan Agreement provides short-term financial assistance to students by allowing tuition fees to be paid in instalments. Approval is granted on a semester-by-semester basis and applies to tuition fees only.

While the Payment Plan is not intended to serve as the primary means of financing an entire programme of study, it is available to assist students who require temporary financial support to continue their education.

Eligibility
Students may apply for a Payment Plan during the registration period provided they:
• Are in good financial standing with the University.
• Do not have any outstanding or overdue fees on their student account.

How to Apply for a Payment Plan – Semester 1, 2026/2027

Important
• Payment Plan requests will not be processed if outstanding fees remain on the student's account.
• Students must make payments and provide evidence of payment by the specified due dates.
• Failure to comply with the agreed payment schedule will result in the student being considered in default.

Default Policy
A student will be considered in default if they:
• Fail to make payments according to the agreed instalment schedule; and/or
• Fail to provide proof of payment by the required due dates.

In the event of a default, the student's registration and academic record will remain active; however, the following actions may be applied:
