Tuition Fees
Students are required to pay tuition fees relevant to their programme in accordance with the University’s regulations. The fee covers tuition and examination costs as well as the cost of some learning materials; textbooks are not included. Where appropriate, the costs associated with e-learning and tutorials are covered in the fee. Tuition fees are paid by semester at the time of registration.
The tuition fees for repeating a course are the same as for a first attempt.
Postgraduate Students Repeating a Course Component
Postgraduate students who are required to repeat a component of a course (that is, your final grade was FC/FCW or FE/FWE) must complete a Repeat Component Form to be registered administratively and billed the repeat component fee.
The form must be completed before the end of the registration period. The Repeat Component Form is found on the Programme Advising webpage. [Only complete the form if the course is being delivered for the relevant semester.]
If you do not complete the Repeat Component Form and you self-register for the course through the Banner student system, you will be billed the full course fee rather than the repeat component fee.
Administrative & Other Fees
In addition to tuition fees, there are Compulsory Fees (ID Card, Guild Fees, Technology Fees, Pelican Perk Fees) and Administrative Fees payable at the time of registration for each semester. Details on the Administrative Fees can be obtained from your local Global Campus Site Office.
Fee Assessment
Students registering online can print their fee assessment invoice for each semester. The fee assessment provides details on students’ financial obligations after registration. All fees must be paid by the end of the registration period as outlined on the academic calendar.
Students who do not comply with the payment deadlines will be deregistered and placed on Compulsory Leave of Absence for the semester.
All course and programme fees are subject to change, from time to time, as mandated by The University of the West Indies Global Campus.
The calculation of fees for Regional programmes is quoted in United States Currency (US$). Exchange rates for the new academic year will be confirmed in July of the current academic year.
