Advanced Supervisory Management

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This twelve-week course takes a strategic approach to the management of people at work.  It assumes a philosophical perspective that people are considered to be human capital and must be treated as an investment and not an expense.  The concept of managing people as ‘talent’ emerges and the view that this talent can be used effectively as a tool for creating a competitive advantage in an uncertain global environment is explored.
