Introduction
To provide participants with an academic foundation in the theories and principles of good business management and to develop problem solving and decision making abilities.
This Program carries normal matriculation status to UWI Degree programmes.
Who is this programme for?
This programme is mounted for persons operating as managers of small businesses, heads of departments in larger firms, and individuals in related organisations.
Programme Structure
Year one consists of two semesters and a summer session and Year two consists of one semester.
Classes are held twice/trice weekly, Monday-Friday 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
When will the programme start?
This programme starts in August and normally runs for one and a half years.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should normally have five (5) '0' Levels (or equivalent), including English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects, or mature students who do not strictly meet the academic requirements but have five (7)' years or more experience in the field.
