Introduction
This programme provides the basic knowledge and skills to enable competence by covering the essential elements of Health Safety and Environmental Management practices. It is delivered through individual courses each with a requirement of 36 contact hours. It is set within a framework of emerging “safety and environmental themes” within the context of the Caribbean region and emphasizes duty of care and precision and thoroughness in safety and environmental management.

This programme is suitable for individuals who wish to enter into the field of health safety and environmental management, as well as present practitioners in the field who wish to enhance their job performance or acquire professional competence.

The programme will be offered online or in a blended mode, this academic year using the Moodle and BlackBoard Collaborate platforms
When will the programme start?
This programme starts in September and normally runs for Two (2) years.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should have five (5) CSEC/GCE O’ Level passes or equivalent including English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects. Mature entry route:and/ Individuals, supervisors/managers with O’ Level passes in English Language and Mathematics with at least five (5) years working experience in the field. A letter of support from one’s firm is recommended.
