Course Description
The Certificate Program in Trial Preparation and Advocacy (Magistrate’s Court) is aimed at providing participants with a general overview of the skills and techniques involved in the preparation for and carrying through of a trial in the Magistrate’s Court.
The course will commence with an overview of the law as it relates to Magistrate’s Court procedures and associated issues relating to trial preparation, including a theoretical framework for this area in law. The course will then move into a series of practical exercises to develop trial techniques covering the various parts of a trial in the Magistrate’s Court.
