Classroom Testing and Evaluation

At the end of the course the students will:

1. Understand and articulate the rationale for educational measurement and evaluation
2. Understand the classification of objectives and their use in the table of specification
3. Appreciate and utilize the use the table of specification in compiling a test
4. Be sensitized to specified alternative assessment measures
5. Understand and use statistics in a testing and measurement environment
6. Appreciate the need for and application of valid data collection instruments
7. Examine and value standardized testing for educational assessment
8. Understand the value and need for simple classroom research study
