One of our partners, the Eastern Caribbean Alliance for Diversity and Equality (ECADE) in collaboration with the Pan American Development Foundation and the Equality Without Borders will launch new research on attitudes towards LGBTQI people in the eastern Caribbean - Same Region, Different Perspective on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. The researchers from CADRES, Peter Wickham and Corey Sandiford will present the findings; and they will be joined by Head of WAND, Taitu Heron, Executive Director of ECADE, Kenita Placide to discuss the latest findings. Ms. Heron, Head of WAND was the guest speaker for this event to commemorate the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence. A graduate seminar in collaboration with the Institute for Gender and Development Studies, The University of the West Indies Mona Campus: "Clutch Your Pearls, She's Angry: Exploring Rage and Respectability in Women's Activism Against Gender-Based Violence in Jamaica".
