Roles and Responsibilities
APAD is responsible for the planning, development and online delivery of courses. While this extends to Special Project CPE work, the primary focus of the work of the Division is on programmes offered at the Undergraduate and Graduate level. APAD achieves this through regular assessment of programmes, courses and course delivery practices to ensure improved quality and the ability to understand and meet the academic needs of our students through programme variety and innovation. To reflect and support the needs of Global Campus students, APAD is organised around two departments: Online Programming and Production Department (OPPD) and the Online Programmes Delivery Department (OPDD). Utilising project management approaches with functional project teams within a new operational structure which is fit for purpose, the Division is responsive to the needs of special project deliverables, undergraduate and postgraduate programming requirements.
