The Office of the Deputy Principal (ODP) at the Global Campus plays a vital role in supporting the leadership and management of daily operations across all departments. Our commitment is to uphold the University’s strategic mandate, ensuring effective governance and the delivery of high-quality services and educational content to our students and the wider community.
The Deputy Principal has a remit at the strategic level for, inter alia, student welfare and care and oversight for Quality Assurance matters. She chairs several key committees, including the Academic Quality Assurance Committee, the Academic Board Subcommittee for Student Matters and the ICT Steering Committee, among others. These collaborative efforts are crucial for maintaining academic standards according to UWI regulations and for continuous enhancement of the overall students experience.
In addition to overseeing strategic initiatives, the ODP manages various Human Resource matters and partners with essential departments—such as Academic Programming and Delivery, the Student Experience Unit, and the Office of the Campus Registrar—to ensure timely resolutions to student-related issues. Together, we strive to foster an enriching and supportive environment for all members of our campus community.
