We are pleased to highlight the ILO publication on green jobs in three Caribbean islands: Dominica, Guyana, and Saint Lucia. You can access the report here.

This insightful report is the result of research conducted in these Small Island Developing States (SIDS), which face significant vulnerabilities due to their geographic location and economic conditions, making them particularly susceptible to extreme climatic events, including Category Four hurricanes.

The publication details the challenges associated with developing green and sustainable economies in these regions while also presenting promising findings for the future. It underscores the critical importance of aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to foster economic and environmental resilience.

The authors of this important report are Ms. Ceceile Minott and Dr. Emily Dick-Forde, whose expertise contributes to our understanding of sustainability in the Caribbean context.
