Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)
Site Library
The site library has a limited number of computers for patron use. All patrons can use the service for FREE to log on to the World Wide Web, type papers, and conduct research. The Library’s Internet Use Policy applies to all computer users and access is limited to one (1) hour based on the demand. Based on demand, time may be extended.
Wireless Internet Access
Patrons are also encouraged to make use of the Open Campus’ Wireless Services to gain access to the internet. Please ask the Librarian on duty for more information.
Office and Learning Software
All computers are equipped with the latest versions of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher etc are available).
Printing Services
Printing services are available at the library especially after normal office working hours. The Reception room of the Open Campus Saint Lucia also provides printing services to students from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Ask the librarian the rates for black and white and coloured prints.
Saving Documents
Patrons are asked to save documents on jump drives and other portable storage devices. Information saved on the computers will be deleted.
Online Research Resources
A number of online resources are available via UWILinC which can be accessed via the Open Campus website www.open.uwi.edu

To access these resources, patrons must log in to the student portal using their username (student ID number) and password. Note that some resources are only accessible within the Main Campuses of The University of the West Indies. Check the librarian with any queries.
Resources Accessible Outside the Library
The UWILinC (online database) is accessible to registered students of UWI anywhere in the world they may be. Simply log in to the UWI the Open Campus student portal using your username and password. Resources include:
